AM Radio and the Lack thereof

Since buying my Model X, the one thing I miss the most is access to direct AM radio. The streaming thing is OK for music and news, but since Tesla has not purchased a license for MLB live streaming, in order for me to listen to a ballgame while driving, I need to Bluetooth in my MLB.com account on my phone in order to listen to a game. Are there others who have experienced the same frustration?

Yes. There was a thread created back in 2016:

No AM Radio Band in Model X

I ended up purchasing a small SONY AM/FM radio and using an FM transmitter. That can be especially handy when seeing the blue informational road signs that instruct the driver to tune to an AM radio station.

The HD Radio channels that rebroadcast AM stations onto FM helped as well. TuneIn has a number of AM stations. For national broadcasts, look for stations throughout the US that feature your favorite shows.
