After a suggestion that B&Bs might be more receptive than hotels to install a NEMA 14-50, I contacted the La Casita del Sol B&B in Amarillo and asked if they would provide a 50 amp outlet. They agreed and sometime in the next 2 weeks it will be operational. (Thanks for the suggestion Jerry33)
Also thanks to Reddy, Amarillo Tesla owner, who had previously offered to give me a charge and who will test the B&B outlet to be sure it will work when I arrive for my overnighter.
