Amazon Alexa Skills and the Model 3

I see several skills producers have made skills for Alexa. A common complaint is that the skill does not wait long enough for the car to wake up before it gives up and declares the car offline.

Has anyone had luck making Alexa play with their Model 3? I'd like to be able to lock and unlock, start the climate control, open the charging port and trunks, etc.

repeat the command as soon as you hear "car offline". the time elapse since the first request, should be enough for the car to actually wake up
