Amber Rear Turn Signal

I had my 2021 LRAWD in for service this week because the rear passenger light was full of water. They replaced the light and it looked fine.

Last night I was out late and put the car into reverse and I noticed the passenger side was 2-3 time brighter so I had someone take a photo. Looking at the light I was unable to see a difference but from the front it is noticeable.

I drove home and put on the hazards to try and find a difference and now I have one amber turn signal.

Happend before a few years back to others who needed a swap. They gave you one Model Y, global spec taillight with the newer amber turn signal.

Does the model 3 use model Y lights?

They are one and the same in terms of fit, multiple revisions and global versions discussed on and off here.

Tesla configures them to work with your car using their Toolbox software suite and factory mode.
