AMCI braking test

AMCI is a company that helps auto manufacturers market their products, which sometimes includes conducting dynamic tests against their competition. They were intrigued by what's been going on with the Model 3, so they got one and ran their full braking protocol on it.

I don't own a 3 but do have an X on order - the testing crew are friends of mine, thought the group here might find it interesting.

TLDR
Asphalt
Model 3 70-0 173ft day 2 170ft
Camry 70-0 166ft day 2 167ft
Concrete
Model 3 70-0 169ft day 2 166ft
Camry 70-0 165ft day2 167ft
Asphalt
Model 3 60-0 130ft
Camry 60-0 126ft

All good. Not sure why the video had to be 20 minutes! They didn't see any difference with regen or without. It would have been interesting if they had tested a pre update Model 3. They didn't really have any idea how to explain the inconsistent results of the bad software. I still think it was some sort of interaction between regen and the ABS controller. We may never know...
