A common thing I see missunderstood is cold weather charging and energy use. Winter causes a pretty big jump in energy use from warming the battery and cabin, and also extra wasted energy from reduced regenerative braking at the beginning of short drives. Completely manageable and you will quickly get used to it but I want to mention it because it upsets a lot of people at first.

On the plus side, instant heat is amazing, that alone would make it hard to go back to a gas car.
