Android phone app for battery management - DU Battery Saver

I love how cars seem to manager their batteries so much better than phones. My current phone has a replaceable battery but still want to manage it.


I found this app that appears to adjust the charge rate (amps) as it gets fuller. Once full it "stops" then trickle charges later. I used the same testing device that I used in this thread:

After my phone was charged I saw the amps drop. Just thought others may be interested or in case someone else uses other software they could speak up.

I don't run it all the time but only when I connect to charge. I start it up automatically using AutomateIt: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=AutomateIt.mainPackage&hl=en
