Not in a Tesla
God is my autopilot.

Woman who was driving while praying with her eyes closed hits house

Ok humor aside, my point is, autopilot or no autopilot, there is no accountability for irresponsible human behavior. IMO Tesla and Autopilot are very unfairly the crosshairs. This is ridiculous. I wish NHTSA and media spent this much energy on something more meaningful that would actually prevent deaths, like carte blanche ban on texting while driving.

Okay, that is an amusing news story -- at least I find it so -- but it has nothing to do with "AP" (which most TMC readers will assume when they read the thread titled before reading the news report). I realize your intent in using AP was humor, but given the spate of Tesla crashes recently where news headlines led readers to believe that Tesla AP was directly responsible for a crash, I do not think your thread title is helpful.
