Did Tesla gave Canada Tesla owner a heads up the increase was coming?

I was incredibly on the fence when i bought FSD for $10,600

I don't know if i would have pulled the pin with the new price. My wife would have definitely been more vocal about it being a dumb move. I wonder if he's trying to get people to NOT buy it, so that the subscription when it comes, looks more appealing as an option.

Yeah I’d be interested to know the answer to that as well. As the price goes up, the take rate goes down.

I had it on my first Model 3 but did not buy it on my Y nor my upcoming Model 3 Performance.

Can anybody with Long-Range (without Acceleration Boost), please, look in the app and confirm if the Acceleration Boost price is still at CAD $2,700+tax?
It’s still the same price.

The FSD price was bound to go up here in Canada as it remained the "cheaper" price when we didn't have the beta up here, as compared to the US price. I still don't understand folks that shell out that much money for such little benefit, as it stands. But to each their own, I suppose.

Far less likely. I think the advances in FSD that were promised 6 years ago are finally coming to fruition and the price will be only going up more significantly when fsd beta is released to all drivers late this year in the states and mid next year in Canada. By that time the cost of FSD will be close to 16k Canadian.

The subscription does not require tesla to upgrade your hardware if it becomes necessary in order to have all FSD features. Basically based on the build of your car FSD will be made available subjectively, i.e. with limited features for subscription only customers.

People who bought the package should get all the upgrades required to make it fully self driving.

Secondly, this will likely be the revenue generator when FSD is fully autonomous or even level 4. The cars will go down in price relatively but FSD will become so expensive to the point only the very wealthy can afford it 50k just for the feature.

Eventually, 10-15 years down the line fsd will be embedded in the price of a Tesla like autopilot. The price of the vehicles will be 200k plus.

I just checked it out, for schlitz & giggles. Yikes, it's in Model S price range and it looks as though EVERYTHING is PasS (Pay-as-a-Service). If I were not retired and still making 6-figures, I would seriously consider this EV.
Yeah I was looking at it instead of my Model 3 Performance. But then I remembered I have a mortgage and kids and snapped back to reality.

Maybe in a few years.
