Another Terrible CPO Experience

Picked up the car late Friday.

B piller fixed! looked the same as before, not sure how it is "updated...."

Freshly painted front end and nose cone look great!

However a new set of problems appeared. I noticed #1 as soon as we left the dealership, called our Delivery specialist and informed him. Unfortunately he could not do anything because service was closed until Monday morning.

1) Car has severe shake at highway speeds 60-80mph. At first I thought the tires might be out of balance, but the suspension has been making all kinds of of sounds when driving. Car also does not feel stable. Probably related to not having an alignment and #2.

2)Ride Height. The front of the car is a good inch higher than the rear, the car looks like it is "sagging" in the rear. The left (driver) side of the car is a full 3/4" lower. I measured center of the wheel from the ground to the arch of the car on a flat surface. I checked on multiple surfaces throughout the day all with the same result.

3) Unable to connect to Wifi. Once you connect to wifi it will disconnect and begin "initializing." When the wifi connection crashes, it also causes the bluetooth connecting to crash. This is a never ending cycle until I turn off wifi.

Minor issues:

5) The front right speaker grill is loose or speaker is blown. Certain frequencies make a tin sound ratting noise.

6) Wood trim to left of screen is protruding I pushed it down, but you can still see it is not level with the aluminum screen surround like the right side.

I am going on a long distance trip on Wednesday morning, and now not sure what to do. I will NEVER NEVER buy a used tesla again. Just when you think it can't get any worse it does!

Any updated pictures of the interior? Did they replace the tires at all? I'm wondering if it's possible to test drive the car before signing for it. I reserved over 5 weeks ago and it's still in the body shop for repairs. Probably not getting the car until September.

Call Tesla Roadside and report the suspension problem. They probably should tow it back to the shop vs you driving it it sounds like. Then get another loaner for the trip. Let Tesla fix the car.

I am on week 7 of my 2nd CPO wait and am scheduled for delivery Friday. This is about the same timeline as my first CPO. 3 weeks is crazy fast when it comes to used Teslas. The CPO advisor claimed they had "fixed" the CPO process since my first experience, but that hasn't proven true. I think there is a large variation between different service centers for CPO refurbs. I hear the Factory is awful. My car came from the east coast supposedly "refurbished" already but got to Burbank and ended up spending several more weeks because the car wasn't up to Tesla's standards. So whatever SC had it on the East coast thought the car was fine, but Burbank said "no way".

I did, and unfortunately support said the car would "alert" me if it wasn't safe to drive. I wasn't going to push them, because honestly I want to speak to the service manager. I spoke to him prior to delivery and he assured me the car would be ready to go the 2nd time. Honestly I am a car enthusiast and have experience working on European vehicles, I think it is fine to drive to the Service Center. What kills me is my wife even said why is the whole car shaking, and she never notices anything .
