Looks like the fastest crash in the history of Tesla. They made it a whole 200 meters after delivery before crashing.

    Oh no...

This is at the factory; you can see the giant TESLA sign and the superchargers in the background.

It is kind of funny, but also very sad! Someone is having a really rotten day!

I hope it wasn't that guy from China that smashed the windshield.

Definitely not Photoshopped. I was inside the store when it happened, although I only heard the crash and didn't witness the actual event. I don't know the whole story, but no one was injured (as far as I could tell anyway) and this looks like a relatively-recent delivery since the plates weren't even on it yet. The driver's side airbag deployed and it looks like there were tire marks from one of the Supercharger stalls (can't confirm if that's really the case or not since the trails don't begin all the way from the parking spot).

That looks like reflection of the rocks underneath, not a sticker...

Now that looks like a sticker. Thanks for blowing it up... I thought it was just a really clean grey one

Could very possibly be a certified used.

Just the funniest crash ever. Into the delivery sign! And the comments on the story make it even better. 'Do Teslas still have those roundy, turny things in front of the driver?'

It's possible for dealers to HOV stickers now (Dianne Whitmire of Carson Toyota usually delivers her RAV4-EVs with stickers these days). Don't know if Tesla is doing the same thing now.

This accident makes Richard Dreyfuss's character and his Cadillac in Tin Men seem like a poster child for safe driving.

Wheels are too dirty for it to be brand new.

In the picture, the area is very empty compared to when I was there Saturday, about 37 hours ago.

They would not have have made it to the sign, but would have probably hit several other vehicles on Saturday. (All SpC stalls taken and all other spots filled by demo vehicles or cars waiting for SpC slots to open up).

Car and driver have Munchhausen syndrome. ;)

The controls and awesome acceleration can be hard for a newbie to handle.
