Right, headlights on and moving (forward) says the manual in the car.Didn't the manual state that they only go adaptive while you are driving, not while you are stopped?

Interesting, as usual, reality trumps the manual! It just needs to be in D, check out Bjorn's video linked earlier int he thread.
Just left delivery WITHOUT the X. No 3way cornering lights and nothing on the screen.
They are escalating to find out if it can be retro fitted or not. Five other Xs being delivered today had them, one other didn't.
Without this forum I would never would have known! I will keep you all posted

Did yours have PUP? What about the other 5 Xs?
No PUP for me. Others, don't know. Delivery manager did confirm the 3 way lights are standard since July 21st.
They just didn't know if they can re retro fitted. Should know more tomorrow.
I just used the "escalate to executive" option and referred the recipient to both this thread and the S thread and hopefully get some clarity on their definition of standard "Three-position dynamic LED turning lights"
Perhaps anybody in the same boat do the same to get some traction on this at Tesla?
There was talk of a site reorg (not sure what was planned, perhaps more common areas?) but we haven’t heard much about it.As a new member to TMC I was dumbfounded that the communities were bifurcated like this.
I wish there was a common forum for issues that affect both S and X. Feels silly to have two threads about this.
There is one but people refuse to use it ("I only look at the Model S forum." people.
The adaptive headlights worked this way right from the beginning (there hasn't been any significant changes to the hardware yet). It would seem that all vehicles come with the same hardware, but originally only the PUP vehicles "enabled" the feature. A lot of these features are software controlled, so it's entirely possible that the car is misconfigured and it could be fixed from head-office.
People have used it for a lot of 'common' topics such as quick sample below (referrals, AP 8.1 on HW1, etc.) But most people stay in their 'zone', of S or X and post there... those of us that want to see what's going on have many forums on 'show me new posts' but that seems not to be too reliable (or the alert system is overwhelmed, not sure which). Are you referring to the “Tesla” forum? It’s my understanding that was to discuss topics about Tesla as a company, as opposed to specific issues about their cars. Slight distinction.
