What I find odd is that I too got my VIN today and it is 143XX. That is a rather large difference from yours of the same day. (I hope mine doesn't show up with 5,000 on the odometer )

I have 14XXX as well, I wouldn't read much into it, I think they have been queuing cars up, and they are assigning them as they are loaded up, or even enroute.

Ordered 5/18. LR AWD / white / black / geminis / no tow hitch (removed at prior advice of delivery specialist). VIN 13XXX.

Got the 7 day text on Sunday, VIN appeared on Monday and I just got a call from Delivery Center its on the ground. Pickup tomorrow at 3:00 PM.

I received a text saying that "be ready for delivery near the end of June.". I'm cautiously optimistic (no VIN in account yet) since this is the first update I've received since I placed my order (5/22).

Should I start applying for financing now? Or should I wait till either VIN shows up or another text update (like build in 7/14 days)?

i got my car in 10 days after VIN allocation . Got VIn on June 3 and took delivery June 13 . But finance doesn't take time. I took Tesla Finance and was approved in 2 hours .

I went ahead and finished financing with Tesla last night. It was fast (like a hour fast) and painless. Now just waiting for VIN to show up one of these days.

Got the text on June 2 for 2-4 weeks and got the MVPA on June 12. No 7 days or 1-2 weeks text yet.

Just got the text to schedule my delivery appointment in Jacksonville. Scheduled for June 25th.

Got Sunday's text blast that "Vehicle will be built in the next 7 days"
MVPA (with VIN) showed up Monday 6/15, manage page still shows no VIN.
Tesla took payment in full from ECH Tuesday 6/16

still no delivery date or any actual communication from anyone at Tesla other than the one text blast and me checking the website for changes.

I'm guessing that they build them in color batches, a bunch of whites with black interiors then at some point they switch to another color batch.

Go to your "Manage Order" portion of your portal.
Press Ctrl U, and it pulls up source code for the webpage. Hidden in the code, if you have a VIN assigned but not published on the page yet" MAY be the VIN number. Ctrl F and type 5YJY and hit enter. If you have a VIN, it will show up in search. If not, it will return zero results.
