Answer I got from Tesla regarding extended warranty for used cars

I was on the phone other day with Tesla used SA and he confirmed what i was told by local Tesla sales guy.

He said if MS is purchased used FROM Tesla it is still possible to purchase original Tesla extended service agreement as long as ORIGINAL Tesla warranty is not expired.

When i told him what about one year additional warranty from Tesla that we get after purchase of used car he said that does not count.

Previous times i was told differently

They are getting greedy, I have the eight year bumper to bumper warranty from Tesla until 2023, and at a recent service visit they wanted to slap me the full bill, claiming I don't have it. Finally after pleading they reviewed my prior receipts and saw it, tech said this has been happening a lot lately. Appears some genius at corporate has been deleting warranties hoping to capture more dough from the forgetful geri berries.
