Anti-theft features

My insurance company asked me what anti-theft features the Tesla has. Can anyone give me the rundown? Alarm, vehicle tracking, etc?

It DOES have an alarm system. It is automatically set when you walk away with the fob. (Just ask my wife who stayed with the vehicle and then tried to turn on the radio a few minutes later!!!)

Sounds like it does. But a BMW 3 series and X3 don't have them. They just have a flashing red light on the bottom of the rear view mirror. Does nothing, but looks like you have an alarm. LOL.

There is an alarm, which you can turn on/off in the settings menu. Vehicle tracking via phone app, and I'm sure by Tesla Motors even if mobile access is disabled. Retractable door handles have probably confused many a would-be thief.

And the car is so beautiful that at any given moment, there are several people gawking at it. Impossible for a thief to steal it without anyone seeing.
