They stated some items were within spec. I've listed several in an email to them per their suggestion( Service appt item in App seems to be locked). I will follow up via phone tomorrow.

Overall the car is not bad, and driving it was GREAT.

1) Very noisy a/c unit, cavitation sounds .
2) Passenger front door handle sunken more than others - Picture
3) Tail Light alignment
4) Carpet below driver's set is not flush, messy seam. -- picture
5) Very large GAP rear hatch, driver's side where it meets the roof. The rubber does not even span the opening. -- picture
6) Driver door is not flush with the rear door especially noticeable mid-door.
7) Drivers rear door trim sits 1/4 inch higher than front door. Perhaps related to item 6. -- picture
8) The drivers windows does not go up/down automatically like the other windows. I have to hold the button.
9) Passenger rear door trim is not level. wide gap. -- Picture.
10) Point of fender where it meets the passenger headlight is sticking out. -- Picture
11) Passenger trim ("charger port") not flush.
12) Paint damage on the hood, directly above the Drivers side wiper. -- Picture

I believe these were included already
Trim piece at the bottom front of the driver front wheel. --picture
The charger door is still temperamental
Align Hatch.
Paint missing/scraped on the passenger door, where meets front fender.

Sorry about the formatting, I tried 3 times to get the pictures all at the end and finally gave up.

Question for my Colorado friends, especially those who live up north. Do you have any recommendations for electricians to help to get the garage set up for charging. I am not planning to buy a gen 3 Tesla charger, from all my research on this forum I am pretty sure I will be just fine with the dryer outlet (As you can tell from my very technical explanation I am not able/willing to wire this myself). Looking for a good POC to do the work and not mark up the cost because it is for a Tesla. Always willing to pay fair honest price just dont want to be taken advantage of!
Do not say it's for Tesla-then you will be ripped that's what many Tesla owners experienced. Mine's done by a friend.

And... my car is still awaiting transport in SF. They clearly held it back at the beginning of the week to try to deliver it to another customer in CA (which they couldn't do since I paid in full). So, they held it for 3-4 days due to incompetence. Now it is July 2 and they still haven't loaded it on a truck. WTH is wrong with them. Cars built after mine have already been delivered in CO. Car was built the week of June 7.

I bought a pair of white on white Model Ys yesterday from the Littleton store so we could have his / hers. Our VINs are 18k + 19k. Both Y's had poor white paint coverage on the doors. It rained here Sunday so the cars had lots of spots and dust residue so we didn't notice the paint issue until after we had accepted and drove away. After a thorough cleaning at the car wash, we noticed the paint issue. Sent our delivery specialist a note that we want them both entirely repainted or we will return them.

So anyone picking up white exterior Y's in Colorado, be sure you check the doors. They look like they were painted separately from the rest of the car and even though they are nice and shiny, they have grey "clouds" visible in the paint as if they skipped a white paint pass.

Hope Tesla agrees to repaint, we don't really want to give them back. Due to the end of quarter push, we haven't heard anything back (sent two e-mails yesterday and left a voicemail about this issue). I'll drive over to the store on Thursday if I don't hear back from them before then.

Tesla wouldn't budge on the paint issues. Said the white paint on both cars was within spec. So my only choice was to keep car as is or return under their 7 day return policy.

I returned them both this morning. So sad, they were great cars but just poor quality white paint. Apparently they already resold one of them while we were doing the return paperwork. I guess there are a lot of people who don't care or don't notice the paint problems.

Also I learned I am now banned from buying the same trim Model Y because I exercised a return. Will keep an eye on this forum and see if the paint improves. Definitely want to get two Y's again. May have to have a family member order them for me due to the ban.

Fortunately we didn't notice any paint issues as mentioned above. We did notice a couple 'droplets' close to one of the headlights. They said they'd be able to remove that piece and replace it. Hopefully the paint on the new piece matches the rest.

Sigh....Well, I am glad I called. Littleton SC said that my MY is STILL stuck in SLC on the carrier waiting for someone to take the job to pick up the trailer and deliver it to Denver. So, this is the 3rd time I have been scheduled for delivery. Originally June 29th, then July 3rd (today), and now July 8th. Grrrr.......

When I ask the delivery agent he told me, yeah the computer shows it was always scheduled for the 8th, I had to disagree saying that at 2pm yesterday I checked and everything still said the 3rd. Upon further investigation he noticed the computer auto rescheduled me at 2:12pm and I was supposed to have received an automated message stating the change. Which I didn't. I think he was more concerned with the system not calling me than the fact I am on my 3rd delivery date.

So hopefully I am now back on track for a third attempt.

"I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this"

It is hard to tell how much of the logistics issues are Tesla and how much are with the trucking industry (which is probably struggling). Will see what happens over the next week but it seems to me Tesla is moving some cars faster than others for a reason.

Still in San Fransisco. That makes more than 3 weeks without any movement. My delivery specialist is trying to figure out what is going on now. Last week was definitely an attempt at end-of-quarter shenanigans but still don't know why it wasn't moved sooner or last week. Build date was no later than 06/19 and possibly earlier in the week.

Sounds like we are in the same boat @hjelmn, except different cities it is stuck in. We should start a club. :)
I just dont understand how they can push 92K cars but cant bring home the last few.

I just got off the phone with my Littleton Delivery Agent. Sounds like the 8th is NOT going to happen as the trailer hasnt been accepted yet. I am in an "Approved, but Pending" state. I asked what that meant, and he stated the car is approved for transport and is waiting for the job to be accepted to carry it from Salt Lake to Denver. He did say it should have happened by now, so he is "checking on some details" and will get back to me. I am about ready to grab a cheap one-way flight to SLC and pick it up there and drive the 600 miles home. If I could be guaranteed the fit and finish issues were fine, I just might do it.

As expected, my date tomorrow has been canceled. I have requested that the computer stop auto scheduling me when it thinks my delivery is going to be and just have a human call me to schedule my appointment when the car actually gets to Denver. They "think" it should be picked up by the end of the week, but those are just guesses.

Any other New Mexicans wit

Mine finally started moving. Not sure if it was picked up yesterday or today but it is finally on its way. Takes about 2 days if there are no other stops. Hopefully they don't decide to drop it off and let it in SLC.

Now there is no telling how long it will have to sit in Littleton once it gets there.

I have received a text stating to expect delivery in the next 2 weeks, but now going on 3 weeks and still no update. Tesla says we are awaiting a VIN number to be assigned. And the beat goes on....lah de dah de dah...

Probably replanned due to the end of the quarter push. They pulled a lot of VINs to deliver them in CA instead to ensure they were posted as delivered in Q2.

What I think I have learned

Yeah...but....if that were the case I would have assumed the VIN would have been reassigned and it given to someone else. Instead it is sitting on a trailer in SLC collecting dust.

However, last night I did receive an email from my local delivery agent stating "I just got word back from my logistics team for your car. Looks like they are sourcing a truck to get that car moved here to CO right now. Should have another update for you soon once it gets on a truck." So hopefully it will be here in the next couple of days. Maybe by the weekend I'll have it.

Well, that at least is something. A rested driver should be able to make that run in a single day. They can drive up to 11 hours after 14 hours of rest. It is only 8 hours or so from SLC to Denver.

Mine left SF either Tuesday or early Wednesday. Most likely will be at Denver Littleton this afternoon. Then the wait begins for a truck to take it the 6 hours south.
