Those aero rims were offered by Tesla for a short period of time. They are suppose to increase range by several percent--3% if I remember correctly. I think they were available for a couple of months two different times. Once a saw a couple of model Ss being delivered to Costa Mesa with those wheels on a car carrier truck.
Very interesting! I learn some new tesla history every day. Not for me, but they look ok as far as aero rims go. I wonder if they were discontinued out of fear of being labeled a weird mobile or if the uptake just wasn't there.

custom made disks. Save between 5-8% depending on driving speed.
Where can I get a custom disk like that. Cool.
Moon disk. It's a small shop in Los Angeles. They custom made it for me as a tester. I think as of now they have to individually make them to order.

They really show wear over time, when burbank opened their showroom, got to see two with the aero rims, scratched that off my list
