Any idea when Performance models will start leaving Austin?

Is it possible to see performance Y's leaving Austin starting this year? If so I may request a hold on my MYP order

Well there's other features such as the update center console, cargo cover, and better build quality I'm sure.

I've not heard of this updated center Console. "better build quality" Might be one of those "ooh shiny" facades.

The center console is now magnetic instead of the latch and the Austin Y's are coming with cargo covers for the trunk.

Ah I do remember that now. I don't think it's worth the almost guaranteed delay though. Can probably retro fit Or buy the parts later. To each their own though.

YMMV, I spoke to someone who got an Austin LR and they reported their center console is handle/latch like the Fremont models. They may only have the magnetic handles on the SR, or, as Tesla do, they just ran out of parts for the magnetic latch that day.
