Any improvement in windshield on X

I’ve got a 2016 X hw2.0 purchased last day of 2016. I’m really wanting to buy a new Raven edition but I paid for FSD and I’ve been angry about not getting an update to HW3. That aside, has the windshield improved from 2016? Does it do better at keeping out heat from the sun? My wife dislikes that a lot and would help in my decision making if this has improved.

Tinting the windows and windshield has made a huge difference for me in the heat reflection. Without it, you’re sitting in a greenhouse.

I have a new Raven and used to have a 2017. I used to get some ghost image in the 17, but it is gone in the Raven. Not sure I notice any difference in heat, but We always use the black mesh Sunscreen in both cars. It comes standard in all their new X.

I like the full open panoramic view of the windshield, but she prefers to run with the sun screen installed...so that is what we do
