If there was a car that needed a valet mode, it would be the P85D and I was wondering if we can expect to see a rollout of a valet mode by the time it ships in December. + Limit engine performance/acceleration to that of a Toyota Yaris. + Lock out glove box, frunk, and trunk. + Lock out audio and entertainment system. Maybe just lock out the entire 17" display with just a moving map showing where you are. + Send alert if vehicle driven for more than 5 miles or speed exceeds 45 mph (user settable). + Lock out being able to turn off vehicle monitoring/remote access. + Prominent message "Valet Mode: All vehicle activity monitored and recorded." And SCs should automatically place vehicles on Valet Mode unless they are testing something with the car. I feel this is a must, especially given the only fatality in a Model S was caused by an unauthorized driver.
