Any opinions on the D's performance in the Snow vs. non D

I have driven an early Sig P85, entering the fourth winter, and a P85D entering the second winter.

The short answer is that the RWD P85 on good snow tires, first Nokian Hakka 7's and then Nokian Hakka R2's does well in winter snowy conditions, but the P85D on Nokian Hakka R2's is the best handling car that I have ever driven in winter snowy conditions. In the P85D on the Hakkas, it was just plain fun to go drive last Tuesday in that moderate 10" snow storm we got in the Boulder-Denver area.

My Driveway in Pagosa Springs is an acid test for winter driving. The P85 with Hakka 7's did well, but driver skill also helped. The P85D with Hakka R2's just makes it look easy.
