Mythbusters is fun to watch, but I wouldn't rely on them for real information. That said, certainly it's going to be a very small percentage of accidents where an occupant will need to break a window; it's more likely a first responder will need to, and they have the tools to do so. That said, it's always a good thing to be prepared as best you can. At least in a Y or a 3 you can have a strategy because of the frameless windows. In a car with framed windows--like the Mach-e--not so much.
