Any problems re-configuring an order?

To those who have already pre-ordered, just wondering if there are any unnecessary difficulties changing around options afterward. Can it be done with just a few clicks in your account or does Tesla have to be contacted? Does the reservation number stay the same?

In the coming days, you will be able to edit your Model Y order or request a full refund in your Tesla Account.

I don't see anyplace to do it currently.

Yeah, I want to change mine from the Sport Wheels to the Aero Wheels since I didn't know there are blacks rims underneath the hub cabs that I actually like better. Saves me $1500. Only thing I am worried that Tesla will try to put me into the new pricing if I edit the wheels since they increase the price by $1000 last night.

Typically Tesla will honor orders at lower pricing, however if you institute changes, they will then convert to any newer pricing on the entire order.

Keeps people from cherry picking and constantly making changes as time goes by.

That's sucks for me then if they convert me to the new pricing just because i downgrade the wheels.

Technically there's no rush. This time next year we'll still be a couple months away from the first deliveries.

But yes I would like to edit my order to remove the 7 seat option, I'm checking every few days. Decided they'd be used so infrequently and will prob mean an extra 6 month wait.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is done when you do final configurations for your vehicle before taking delivery.
