Any scheduled Model S Updates based on historical events?

Last major model S update was Oct 9, 2014. A few other updates as well such as Ludacris and 90 battery in the past few months besides OTA.

Model X on September 29, 2015.

Fall seems to be the major release keynotes. Is there a specific time of the year that Tesla makes updates we can forecast? Apple iPhones always get released in the Fall and we can count on it.

Getting ready to pull the trigger in January 2016 but I can wait if something better is brewing. Maybe 85 battery going obsolete and they're just sticking with a 90 to streamline production for Model X and S? Any historical data on Model S would be appreciated. If none, January 2016 it is.

Is January because you want 2016 on your papers, or because of other reasons?

In any case, I know for sure that current $2000 VA/OH referral discount in addition to driving Tesla more, is just not worth the wait. In my opinion.

Updates are unpredictable. They happen when they're ready. If you like the car, buy it, otherwise you'll always be waiting for the next update.

The last major model S update was June 2015...P90D ludicrous.

Before that they announced the 70D in April.

There's no set schedule, no air of predictability.
