Any Signature Model X owners NOT receive their car yet?

My agreement doesn't have any mention of 50 miles.

The copy of the Motor Vechicle Purchase Agreement had two pages at the end that had my information 'printed' on the page , but it did not have any 'pre existing' text (these pages print on the California Pink Slip), these are the two pages that had the fifty miles marked. Maybe I have it as a) I'm in California and b) I'm paid cash and will be receiving my pink slip on day one?

@jshnyc, wow, that is just not right. It really makes me worry about our Sig VIN#484 that we are still waiting for. We've been given the same line from our DS that they just want to make sure it is perfect, though we still have no delivery date yet, other than an assurance that we will have it by the 31st.

I hope that at least the functionality of your X is flawless, so that you can finally enjoy driving it around.

SigX VIN #484 (still waiting)
Sig red with 7 seat black interior & 20" wheels, tow pkg, cold weather pkg, order confirmed 9-29-2015.

Sadly, no. Yesterday the main screen refused to accept any touch input. I drove it back to the service center in Mount Kisco and dropped the key in the overnight box.

And there's a lot of wind noise from the driver side window.

I would be similarly concerned given our experience this weekend.
We configured the same day as you, Sig VIN 535. Went through production early December and told to expect factory pickup late December. Delayed again and again, given the same story about wanting perfection. Finally during the week it was ready, Friday evening pickup.
As we walk up to the car we hear loud beeping coming from the car every 10 seconds.
"Driver assistance features unavailable" was the error message. "Don't worry" we were told, "that is just because it is plugged in" is what the delivery specialist said. We go through the car, continuing to beep every 10 seconds.
I note the milage... 49 miles. One more mile and it isn't new any more. They literally couldn't do any more fixes or it would hit 50. I didn't want to wait though, as I wanted the CA $2500 that is about to go away.
The DS drove the car around the front, and gave us the keys and left. It was still beeping every 10 seconds so the DS obviously knew the car had issues still but didn't care to correct his earlier statement.
All the way home loud beeping every 10 seconds and of course no cruise control or anything.
I noticed that the electrical conduit between the rear view mirror/AP had obviously already been replaced as there were marks on the windshield from a previous conduit run.
The next day I took it straight to the service center and left it there. They had no loaners but gave me a lift home. They expect it to take a week to fix. So now we are back to no X.

The way I see it they likely couldn't get the hardware fixed despite 49 miles of testing and replacing the AP hardware a few times... So they had to give it to us and get it fixed later... And we had to accept it then if we still want the government rebate. I guess they have one month more to get AP working (after spending the last 3 months on it) before it officially becomes a lemon.

Hopefully we will like the car after it stops beeping at us.

Mine has the same electrical conduit replacement marks along the windshield to the rear view mirror.

Oh ps. When I demanded to know what they fixed / replaced at the factory they changed their story. Now they said it had been sitting on the line waiting for parts from a supplier, not getting repairs or being tested for perfection.

Seems like an obvious lie given the clear cosmetic evidence of use. But whatever. Let's see if they fix it all.

@jshnyc, sorry to hear about the problems with your Sig X. These kind of things really worry me about the delivery of our Signature, even though they are working on it for so long "to make sure everything is perfect". Hopefully they will make it right for you soon.

The thing that still annoys me most is just the abhorrent communication. Here we are a full six months after my order was confirmed, and the only communication is canned responses to my monthly email inquiries. I'm glad for all those Signature people who got their cars early on, and who had no reliability issues, but the timeline of our Signature experience is getting to be just crazy.

I'd definitely never again go Signature, despite the fact that I still love what the company is doing, and will be the first in line on the 31st to place a deposit on a Model 3 (yes, I know no Signatures are being offered on the Model 3).

Did you check the actual odometer when you received the car?
I'm guessing the 50 mile limit must be internal to Tesla... Or else the law of some country out state that they generalized to be an internal policy.

I've heard nothing from the service center as yet.. But don't really expect to fit a few days.

That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish, since that option no longer exists for the Models S & X, and it will not exist for the Model 3. :)

However, I do agree with you. This time around, they did give a price break for Signature holders (vs a tax with the S), but the new line issues probably cancel the benefit. One saving grace is that non-US customers should get the price break with a stable production line, so it may still be worth it for us.

I hadn't considered that angle. Remember, too, that the next Roadster and other future "high end" vehicles might include a Signature line. Personally, I hope they don't - but Tesla doesn't really consult me on things..

I forget what it said precisely. It was around 40 miles. Maybe 39? 41? Something like that.

I am told my Sig X is 48 hours away from being delivered to Dania Beach, FL and thus beginning the inspection period. Anyone else still waiting for detailed info on their X?

I just got a call from our DS, and SigX VIN#484 is scheduled for delivery Monday the 28th in Santa Barbara! Let's hope all goes smoothly.

I wonder if we will be the last of the US Signature deliveries.

Hopefully now quality issues, please keep us posted. Let us know if you get a sunshade and if the tint on the panoramic windshield is adequate at blocking sunlight

Delivery scheduled for the morning. The passenger front door went bad and that is what they replaced. There is some scratches on some chrome pieces that they found and will replace those later. The car will be going back for fixes for sure.

Our Signature is scheduled for delivery this Monday March 28th. Hopefully our car will be flawless. Are we the last Signature to be delivered? Is there some kind of award for the last of the US Sigs?

We are actually starting to spot production X's at our local supercharger. Who would have thought we'd see so many production units out there when we still don't have our Signature X yet.

The fact that you confirmed that long ago and still do not have your X is Ludicrous. If you did not order the Ludicrous upgrade, I hope they give it as a free upgrade for your patience.
