Any Southern California VIN assignments/deliveries for folks who configured after 6/27??

Nice! Looks like the one I ordered on 7/21 in San Diego. I got the Aero wheels, however (looks like the car across the room in your picture!) I have not heard anything from Tesla and my Edit button is still there. Of course, it's only been 10 days. :)

I have read that orders that are for Cash are possibly getting fulfilled faster than outside financing. One question I have...If I am bringing a check from my Credit Union combined with a personal check for the full amount, isn't that considered cash to Tesla??

I don’t think that will be considered as cash since you’re going through a credit union.

Also cash vs financing doesn’t really matter determining when you get your car. To me it’s seems like the important factors are:
- Order date
- Configuration
- Location
- Reservation date

You say that, but I reserved (I think) 2 years after you (your signature has weird dates "Reserved 4/22/26").

I have same config as you (maybe other than EAP, but thats software), reserved a month ago, I take delivery tomorrow, yet you are waiting?

VIN assigned, and delivery set for Tuesday! Could have picked up on Friday, but we're heading out of town for the weekend, and didn't want to roadtrip in the car right away (or leave it alone for the weekend).

Reserved 3/31, ordered 7/13, ISA contact 7/30, VIN assigned 8/1, expected delivery 8/7!

VIN is of the 556xx range, and did not show up in my account until after speaking with the ISA.

Oh no... I reserved 4/22/16. And I already took delivery on 7/27. The signature is messed up. Sorry for the confusion.

Took delivery today at San Diego.

Experience was OK, totally dead there, no one else picking up the entire time I was there. Sat down, signed the paperwork, and showed me the car, just sitting outside in the parking lot. I found some adhesive on the front light which they took round the back to get fixed. Was out of there after 30 mins I would say.

Only freak out moment was the paperwork, he says “odometer is 50 miles” which paperwork also states... get me thinking WTF?!?! Why is there 50 miles on it I asked? “That’s just a round number”... me still confused. I suck it up anyway, because the car feels new and if something is wrong (like it had been returned before) I can bring it back...

Got home, after relaxing I figure out the odometer, it was at 11 miles back at the Tesla place... I was only at 31 miles total. Must just be some weird thing they do for the paperwork?

Software Version: 2018.26.3

Anyway - good times!!

Beautiful!!! To be honest I didn’t even think about odometer when I picked up even though it was part of my checklist. Was just star struck by my car, but when I got home I saw it only had 5 miles prior to delivery.

Our cars are twins so hope to see you on the road. The wait’s finally over and now you can enjoy!

Looks great! Congrats!

I'm hoping to take delivery in San Diego soon. My VIN was assigned on Wednesday. I added to the "Payment method" section that I should be getting the SDG@E $1000 teacher credit (my wife is a teacher), and my status says:

"A delivery experience specialist is reviewing your changes and will contact you prior to delivery."

I guess we'll see!

You will see it on your final MVPA, listed as EV credit. I will be picking mine up today so I will confirm back later!

Took delivery of my pearl white RWD today from Costa Mesa. I was one of the last deliveries of the evening arriving at 5:30pm. Although feeling rushed to sign, I stood my ground to point out some additional paint issues I noticed that were easily correctable with some touch up paint. Besides that, it was a pretty smooth and easy process and I spent most of the time explaining everything about the car to her, because you know, she didn’t care about it for the last 2 years. The car is a dream and I can’t contain my joy. I’m sitting in it now as I post from my iPhone. The kids are asleep so I can spend all night going over the goods!

6/27 Order Date
Performance Tesla Model 3
No VIN so far.
I call Twice a week and still nothing since 6/27.

I'm in the exact same position as you, P3D+ ordered on 6/27 (reserved 4/10/16) and didn't receive any contact from Tesla until yesterday morning. I got an email to confirm my delivery location even though I chose Costa Mesa when I ordered, and to confirm my trade-in. When I went to my account page, I didn't have the option to finalize these options, it's still the same old page. I called Tesla and told them about my situation and they said I have not been assigned a delivery specialist yet, but based on my config date I should be getting a call/email from them next week. Tesla said it usually takes 4 - 6 weeks for a delivery specialist to make contact after order date depending on configuration and vehicle availability. The email I received yesterday is a good sign that my order has some momentum now...

Performance Model 3 in MSM, premium wheels, white interior

Configured on 6/27. Estimated delivery initially Aug-Oct 2018. Changed from black to white interior on 7/31. Estimated delivery changed to Oct-Dec 2018. Then VIN on 8/1. Contract on 8/2. Delivery scheduled for 8/7.

Wow that’s fast for performance. Sounds like the white interior did the trick. No known deliveries so far for performance with black interior and the performance upgrade package.
