Any success with applying referral code?

So yesterday I decided to just send a text to my delivery advisor who I have been communicating with.

Well today I got the following response back via text:
"Added referral code for your friend. it will apply after you take delivery."

I won't be disappointed, don't worry. I will definitely send an update for sure. Hey if it doesn't happen it is a very minor inconvenience. I didn't tell the person who I used for the referral that I was reaching out to Tesla about it. So they don't have any expectations. It would be a nice surprise if it does happen though.

I just called the Tampa delivery center and asked for them to add a referral code to my order. The girl I spoke to was incredibly helpful and friendly and within an hour it was showing up in my father's (my referral) loot box. She said to remind my delivery person to make sure it shows up on my end as well at time of delivery.

My delivery advisor said no. Politely, but still no.
"Only orders placed through a referral link after June 9th are eligible for the referral program for Model Y's."

Same...no dice on my end either ...he's holding out hope the company changes the policy

I called hq 2 times today to try after hearing it worked for some. Both people shut me down, one was a bit snotty too. Haven’t tried calling the NC delivery center yet but may be worth it.

Sorry, I don't recall her telling me her name. I just asked the person who answered there for sales and she looked up my reservation, told me it was pre-production and she put a note for her supervisor to add the referral.

Also, I know she could see by looking up my reservation, but I didn't mention anything about Model Y. I just told her I was having trouble adding a referral code to my order and asked if she could help me.

I've contacted the support person that has been working with me for a while getting the order ready. Hopefully he will be able to add the referral.
My update: he just replied that he cannot add it to old orders
