Any US Model 3 Performance deliveries in 2019?

I ordered 3/16 and had a vin # assigned in 2 days, but my delivery appt has been rescheduled 2 times now
I'm assuming that anyone who has gotten a VIN for a recent order is getting an inventory car, seems to still be a few out there. What are the last 6 of your assigned VIN? I was offered two different 2018s and declined. We are all waiting for new builds that seemed like they might be happening this week.

Just checked the order tracking spreadsheet again, and it looks like some LR AWD guys have gotten new VINs (310,000 range) recently too. The couple of AWD VINs that have been assigned in the last few days look older, 100's and 200's.

Every car that's over 300,000 is either a LR RWD or SR+

Tesla doesnt assign vins sequentially like it seems, I believe they issue them in batches. So, I believe its possible for a car made "now" to have a vin that looks like it was made a couple months ago if you were expecting sequential assignment.

FWIW, the vin of my car is 106,XXX, and it was made november 15th 2018 (and I took delivery 12/04). I actually refused my first car and took this one on the second day. The first car had a vin that appeared much higher.. something like 145,XXX but it was made like 3 days later on november 18th. I was able to get the actual "birthday" of the car by talking to my salesperson. They can see it on their internal systems. The car will have the month on the sticker, but unlike BMW there is no online way to see the actual day of manufacture outside of tesla's systems. In their system the "born on" day is called "birth day" or "birthday".

So, dont depend on just the vin to tell you when the car was made.

I think the only ones getting greater than 200k VINs for LR AWD are in Europe. I can't seem to find any LR AWDs in the US that are greater than 200k.

I typo'ed...meant to type LR RWD. Oops. Can't edit now :(

My post should read:

Ok, I'm going on record with a prediction that we'll start seeing AWD VINs begin to be assigned tomorrow. At least that's what I'm telling myself so I'll be able to sleep tonight

FWIW, the model 3 VIN tracker twitter did say about 500 dual motor variant VINs were registered 3 days ago. I'm not sure what the lead-time is on them getting assigned (if they're registered before or after building them), but there's something else to give a little hope!

Cool! I'm basing my prediction on a single data point, one RWD guy who was assigned a delivery date last Thursday, the day before several of us got one, and got his VIN today. Not even close to statistically relevant, but hey, I'm going to believe what I want to believe, and add your info to top it off, until it doesn't happen :D:cool:

Just notified by the local delivery center that my delivery date has been pushed now to 4/2

You and I have the same config according to the spreadsheet. Ordered 1 day apart (3/13 & 3/14).

I just called delivery to confirm that my 3/29 is still on track. Confirmed that it is. I'm live in Fremont, so it's likely that your new delivery date is just transport cross country.

According to the delivery specialist, we'll probably see VINs within 24-48 hours. Let's hope so.

Congrats btw, you have great taste.
