Any way to adjust the max height of the power lift gate?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the max height on the power lift gate? The gate rises about one inch too high to not hit my open garage door and while I can halt it by holding on, the car angrily beeps at me for triggering the stopping of the door. Since even if I open the trunk manually the actuator lifts it, I have to stop it every time, and it would be nice to be able to set it to not go too high.

when your trunk is where you want it, push the button on the trunk and hold it until there is a beep ~ 3-4 seconds
