"Hello from the Tesla Delivery team. Our logistics team has confirmed a Model 3 matching your order is available this week. Are you available to take delivery between 9/26 - 9/30?"

For those who responded, did you hear back (regardless of whether you said yes or no)

Yes. Many hours later. I replied via text and later called and was routed by a customer service rep to the delivery folks, ending up leaving a vmail, with the CS rep on the line with with me. Later, whether prompted by my text reply this morning, or, my vmail:

"Thank you for confirming your availability this weekend. We will reach out to schedule your appointment as soon as we get a firm date on when your vehicle will be ready for delivery."

So... waiting for the call...

I was just at the service center today, and confirmed that the texts we received really did come from Tesla. Explanation I was given is that with the big quarter end push, they're trying to gauge some things (where to deliver and what). I was told that we should reply "yes" to the text if you're ready to take delivery.

I got the same text messages as above. The first and second. I'm in CA and ordered a P3+ silver/blk on 6/30 for reference.

I got that text message after my "Fremont Home Delivery" was already scheduled by someone in the Vegas call center.

My issue is:

1. Still no contract so I can't pay for my 3P- yet. I guess I will do ACH on my driveway after I inspect it?

2. Still no confirmation that the "Home Delivery Specialist" will be driving my 2016 X P90D VIN 000417 too-early-to-keep-panel-gaps-concern-over-future-out-of-warranty-repairs-it-ran-over-large-road-debris-and-the-left-falcon-was-replaced-later off-lease back to Tesla. Hope they use it as a loaner instead of selling it to somebody!

I took advantage of Tesla making my last 6 months of lease payments ($12K) and waiving the disposition fee on that. :D
More than paid for the AWD-to-Performance upgrade which was required for this "ownership loyalty" and "free supercharging" deal.

I've dealt with 4 Tesla people so far, and the left hands don't seem to know what the right hands are doing.

I did the upgrade just 7 days ago to a P3- so I could return my X, so I guess if they really home deliver it Friday that will be close to record time, but not surprising since I live ~5 miles from the factory...

I actually got as far as getting delivery appointment scheduled for tomorrow. Then called my local SC to confirm, and they said there's no vehicle and no VIN. So no delivery this weekend for me. Make sure to call your local service center to confirm.

I did get a third one but still canned.

Thank you for your quick response! We appreciate you confirming you are available. We will contact you directly once we get a firm date from our logistics team.

yeah I waited until today since logistics didnt reach out yet so I asked how its going and got this gem back.

Thank you for confirming your availability. A team member will be reaching out in the next week or two to discuss when another vehicle will be ready for delivery.

Hey it’s more promising than mine!
They did at least close me out tonight which I thought was nice:

Thank you for confirming your availability. We are unable to schedule your delivery this weekend. We sincerely apologize for this, but will reach out as soon your car becomes available.

I just got the same exact text. I suppose the closure is nice but have our expectations of Tesla dropped so low now that when they finally do something that would typically be considered common courtesy, we see it as a nice gesture? Maybe we all have Stockholm sydrome now...

Yeah I read my post thinking about how fuming I was earlier “the weekend is here wtf!!!” obviously that didn’t make it online. But yeah there’s a special conditioning provided as part of this process.
