as the fall nears it's time for those of us in the Capital Region to think about what winter tires we'll be putting on: I was going to just go with tesla's tire / wheel package, since that seemed like the easiest thing to do, but I've seen a few people suggest that the sottozero 3s are not up to the task of deep snow.
I'm in Saratoga Springs, NY: anybody have any experience in the winter with the sottozeros in the capital region / another similarly snowy / icy area? My M3 is AWD, if that makes a difference: my hunch is that I'll be just fine with them + some chains in the event I need them, but maybe there's some unique situation here that I'm not seeing. thanks!
