Anybody with 'Midnight Silver' and 'Sonic Carbon' Wheels?

Pardon my ignorance but I have been trying to get a definitive answer to my question: the 19" sonic carbon slipstream wheels ARE alloy with black finish, are they not? The "carbon" makes it sound as if they are something like composite - which I would NOT like!

They are essentially the same as the stock silver wheels, except for the gray color. They are not black. Lots of pictures in this thread.

Thanks for that - several people have implied that they are carbon composite, and even some Tesla employees have been ambivalent about it.

Just the color is what you're buying, and it's a great look even on white.

Yep one of mine picked up a stone chip definitely a regular alloy under the paint
