Anyone drag race their Model S?

I am a big fan of the Tesla Model S. I have been looking for someone who would be willing to come out and join us one of these nights. We are located in Northern California, not far from the Tesla Plant.

It would be awesome to see a large, super quiet, electric luxury sedan blowing away a loud, smoking mustang or other sports car. It would get a lot of good publicity for electric cars IMO. Being most of my subscribers are typical motorheads, watching a large electric sedan smoke their favorite "sports car" might open their eyes a little bit.

Let me know, you can contact me on here or email me through this forum.

Thanks for your time!

I went to drag race last night (not in California)

Having a Model S give very consistent results and is almost too easy

Average is about 1 kWh per run

I would be very interested to read the intermediate times of the other cars as well. Did you leave them out or were they not available?
