I just got an email asking me to join the early access program. Did anyone else? Not sure why I was selected.. I do have FSD but wasn’t an early adopter.

Early Access for HW3 owners only makes sense from a development standpoint but terrible from a PR standpoint.

They should have invited some HW2.5 owners and give them HW3 so they can get in the Early Access Program. After all, we were the true pioneers willing to buy in early at the higher price (and potential issues) for the latest and greatest tech in the first place!

This! yeah, it would have taken a minor effort to start inviting HW 2.5 owners to start getting swaps. They could then learn from the experience to roll out to large numbers of vehicles.

They should start retrofitting with mobile techs now instead of later so they won't get overwhelmed when the FSD features are released for real.

He lied. He's said that for months yet nothing has happened.

They are not the same thing. The way I interpret is
- EAP for people who bought FSD "early"
- Priority upload queue for all FSD owners

It'd be only a small subset of orders from Oct 2016 through HW 3.0 and the AP/FSD price changes. Relatively speaking the number might be fairly low.
