Anyone else's car sometimes turn on headlights and wipers on startup?

Hey all, I am on 2018.21.9 but my car has exhibited this behavior sporadically for the few months that I have had it. About every 20th startup or so, in broad daylight, the car will turn on headlights and have a single swipe of the windshield wiper. The headlights go off after a minute or less. Tis very odd and tends to smear the windshield which is far from the end of the world but still annoying to have happen seemingly at random in broad daylight. Anyone else experience this?

Edit: and for the record my car is an AP1 car

Do you have automatic wipers turned on? It's not the most reliable thing and will swipe during the day with no rain. Wipers on = headlights on. Case closed?

I do always have the auto wipers on. However, it doesn't happen while I am driving along. Always on startup, and seemingly at random. Nothing is on the windshield or anything. Quite odd.

My car does it with a change in lighting occasionally; driving into the garage or a thick cloud suddenly covering the sun for a moment. In every instance the lights come on as soon as the wipers are moving.

I get what I call the "mystery wipe" from time to time.
