Not going t happen. Especially on the M3. They will not start discounting it on the M3 for a long time to come otherwise it undermines the whole "buy it now before it goes up" sales strategy. Why would anyone ever buy it upfront again?

Nope... Too many people bought the dream.

Maybe it a year or 2, when nothing is delivered in Europe, they might put auto lane change and basic summon back into AP for a small fee.

At the moment it's 6k for a crappy lane change and basic summon in UK

I do think they should scale the price as the cars age, to reflect how many years you may be able to use the features for. Everyone's a winner that way!

People were happy to pay for EAP, some just not happy to pay quite a bit more for FSD. EAP offered plenty of beneficial functionality in UK, and you still get that with FSD that superseded that. Iirc FSD was a $2k and $3k upgrade on top of EAP, so thats the real price of the FSD specific bits over and above EAP.

As for currently - its also an insurance policy on future price rise. We know that there is a deferred $1k price rise outstanding. Any other future price changes are as meaningless as discussing any other future car price changes. The difference though, is that FSD can be retrospectively applied.
