Anyone Getting White Interiors This week?

FWIW, the primary goal of touch up paint is to prevent rusting of exposed underlying metal, but it won't ever be a paint match- that's fine as a temporary solution to protect the surface to get you on the road so long as it will be properly addressed by proper paint down the road, and hopefully your service team

I have a call scheduled with the delivery manager on Tuesday. We will see what and how it will be addressed. I have until Friday to decide on if I want to return the vehicle.

Got mine today. Amazing vehicle, though sadly some build quality issues - paint and back seat alignment.

Interior looking great in white though. Happy I waited.

Located in Reno, NV. Ordered in October

denny, you seem to know nothing about tri coats. its a white base, then clear with pearl, then a clear on top. so to get a "touch up" that's what you got. same with every car in every shop with rock chips or whatever. is just the base white. so to get it done correctly. it will take a lot longer than your touch up you got. so stop complaining in every forum about this. you seem to not know how paint works. but like you said in this. set a service appt to get to a paintshop. and they will fix it.
I don't care how paint works. I didn't ask them to do a touch up and they took it upon themselves to do it. I was already picky about the paint issue to begin with. Why white it out or touch up you call it, either do it right or don't do it at all.

Ordered my Red/white loaded Performance on 3/15/19 and still not a word. Spoke to my delivery specialist And she has no idea. Tried calling Tesla, but can’t reach anyone. I currently own 2 Model 3’s. Nuts!
I ordered white/white/AWD/LR/20" on day zero. I got a voicemail last week telling me to make sure my paperwork is all in order.

I called them back to see if they had any visibility on delivery and was told 8-12 weeks. I realize most of the people you talk to know nothing, but it's still disheartening to be told nonsense. I'd rather be told "we really have no idea".

I looked at a white Y today and was impressed with how good it looked even with the Gemini wheel covers. But it was very clean and sitting in the mid-day sun. I wondered how much that affected my perception.
