Anyone have a delivery estimate for a P100D?

Congrats. Why not post the performance numbers here:P100D, 760HP and Performance Tests

That's the plan. I can't access the My Tesla app yet, so thus can't access the PowerTools app, but it's a top priority.

It's too dark for photos and I only snapped a couple at the dealer when I had light. I am going to take her straight to Malibu Canyon and run her out proper. Like, right .... now.

Premium (ventilated) seats are nice. The controls for them are a bit more flimsy (weak plastic) than I would hope for in a $170k (including tax) car, but I knew what I was getting into here.

@Lyon Congrats, looks awesome!!! I went with the 21s too, just had to do it. I pickup mine in a week!

Looks like you got the premium seats after all, how are they?? And what was your 90% or 100% rated miles?

The car wasn't all the way to 90% when I picked it up so I won't know what the 90 is until it finishes charging. I live 90 miles from the SC so that'll be sometime tonight. I'll update tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got all the options on the car. The premium seats are really a nice place to spend time. You're not going to be dissatisfied.

By the way, is that a big scratch on the panel (right behind the rear wheel), or just a reflection?

Reflection. The lights in there are tube fluorescents. You did make me go back out and look. ;)

Nice car, any chance that your car will show up in a 1/4 mile drag strip and get some 1/4 mile time there?

@Lyon @DavidP100DL Did y'all notice a lack of motor whine in comparison to the "old" D's? Did it sound any different? One of the other new P100DL owners noted a lack of motor whine and thinks something about the motors maybe be different with the 100s.

Now that you mention it, there is far less front motor noise than in our P90D Model X. I was also impressed by how much less road noise there is than my old 2012 Model S.

Maybe there's a next gen motor in there, or just better insulation :) I heard there is basically zero whine and that the drivetrain actually feels different too. Can't wait to get behind the wheel...

I noticed that too! If you look at @Lyon P100DL badge a few posts back, you can see it underlines the whole thing...

I'm sure I'll have more to report once I get a chance to drive it more. I basically picked it up, hopped on the freeway, put on autopilot, and crused home. Okay, there might have been one or two full throttle accelerations. ;)

I don't think I care about the badging. Mine is getting wrapped, brake calipers painted, tint ... and probably de-badged as part of a chrome delete. More on this later.

She is fun; that's for sure. When I get some daylight I'll post pictures, write up my delivery experience report (it went mostly ok, but not perfectly), update the owner's spreadsheet with my delivery date, and [assuming the My Tesla app starts working] start the performance testing.

I just got back from my trial drive. For now, she is safely put away in the garage getting some power.

Here is a short edit I made of my first actual launch (using the launch controls, not pedal munging.) I didn't time it, but you'll get a good idea from the video about the time with the cost of 2 passengers weight. I'm about 180lbs and she is ... way less than that.

I don't have any way to compare it having never owned a Tesla before today, but I read about the whine and heard it via videos when I was doing researching the purchase.

I didn't hear a whine, but I wasn't listening for it explicitly. Will report back only if I do hear it.
