Anyone have experience with steinbauer P90D mod?

Hi All,

Did a quick search and came up with nothing. Anyone had experience with steinbauer p90d upgrade? 50kW plus extra regen sounds pretty nice, but unsure on warranty (tesla), how it actually works (is it like a resistor mod, or changing power output curve?)

Most likely it is a expensive placebo for fools.

Due to the scammy "price on request" you should believe the same.
steinbauer mod is a scam because the "documentation" graph is total, unquantified BS.

IF it does something, (could do anything) then it would be to replace certain CAN messages to spoof optimal pack temperature of 50°C or voltage (allowing more abuse of a cold pack, or hiding voltage sag ) - which in both cases would hurt the cells.
In such case, it would only work a bit, highly depending on how cold/discharged the pack the pack is.

IF it actually did stuff like replacing CAN messages, then it would end up being detectable by Tesla any time they would by adding an new message that is not corrupted by this preprogrammed device, or totally mess up/stop doing anything, by changing CAN message.
