Anyone hearing any rumors of VA offering EV tax credits this year?

Our new gov was skewered over his investment in a Chinese EV company so I know he's down with the EV revolution. But he hasn't publicly commented on doing anything to spark EV sales in VA. I don't think he's beholden to the dealership network and besides enough car makers that use dealer networks sell EV's.

Has anyone heard any legislative rumors about giving EV purchases a tax break?

Just read about a likely repeal of the "Hybrid Tax" coming soon (has been signed by Virginia House and Senate, awaiting Governor's signature). The repeal was introduced Del. Tom Rust (R-86) and repeals the $64 annual tax for owners of hybrid and electric vehicles.

My understanding from a couple of articles I read a few weeks ago is the repeal will apply to hybrids only and the EV fee will remain.
