Until that legislation is updated, or the Transport Department issues an exception, most advanced visual display functions will not be permitted in HK. Requests have already been made to Transport Department to allow advanced functions in Park mode, but rejected as a distraction to the driver.

Just had a minor check up at Yau Tong Service Centre. The mechanic said that Hong Kong is considering adding Netflix sometime this year

It does appear that hell is indeed freezing over. Some amendments are working their way through the legislative process here now that will remove limitations on the visual display while the car is parked, allow summon (engine running while driver not in seat), as well as a few other such improvements. Once passed, those will pave the way for more functionality to be usable here.

Unless you can access the browser on your M3 (HK Teslas do not have browser access), you can not access carlink, let alone Netflix.

Does Singapore sold Tesla have access to this?
