Anyone NOT get the extended warranty and wish they did?

And care to share what happened? I'm at 51k miles and bought the car with 5500 on it... My understanding is I have until 50,000+5500 miles to buy the extended warranty..... with the clock ticking, I'm looking for input from those who have felt pain (or not) around their decision to buy or not buy the extended warranty.
