Anyone one traveling from oustide CA to see Formula E in Long Beach?

Just wondering if any Tesla owners from outside of California were planning to attend the Formula E, electric car race in Long Beach on Saturday the 4th.

I decided to travel down from the Seattle area to have a fun road trip. I like supporting anything that promotes a positive image of electric cars. And admission is free. Hard to beat that.

I was impressed by the support that some long time racing teams, like Andretti Motor Sports have given to Formula E and their electric cars.

This is the last chance to see them this season in the US.

It's Saturday the 4th, not the 11th. At least it had better be, because if it's not this Saturday then I've taken my vacation the wrong week!

I'm sitting in a hotel in Carlsbad, CA right now. Going to see some sights down here in the San Diego area during the week, then go up to Long Beach for the race on Saturday.

Maybe this should be moved to the California subforum? Or general EVents?

Me, wife and FIL are coming in from Phoenix to catch the race. Debating whether or not to buy the Tesla LA Club special tickets or not.

Any of the locals have advice about transportation, public transit, parking, etc.? I'm not finding any info online and the concierge at my hotel isn't having any luck either.
