You can't put bigger tires on the X... the way the suspension is built, you'd have to move the tires out at good 2-3" to clear it... Else I'd love some 35" off road tires on mine...

You just need wheels big enough to go over the upper arm!
I doubt you'll be able to fit bigger tires on the Model Y since the front suspension design will almost certainly be the same as the Model 3. There's a knuckle above the tire in the front.

If you space them out far enough then the knuckle doesn’t matter!
