What is the treadwear rating on your Pirelli’s? Curious if they increased it from 420.
These are also rated 420.

Interesting because I read to get improved range Tesla made changes to the wheel bearings, cooling, lubrication and gear designs, including new tire variants.
beautiful car! congratulations! thank you for the review and pics. mine will be the same exterior color but with white interior. delivery delayed 3 times for me so far. wondering if taking delivery at the Fremont factory is actually a negative because they are just so overloaded with cars to deliver. They pushed the FSD out to my car! Still on the same 2019.7.106 but at least I have Navigate on Autopilot now (with confirmation) and DashCam. Hoping to get a software update soon for Sentry Mode.
Exterior:
- Nothing has changed except for the badging. I have the Long Range Model X, so my badge just says 'Dual Motor'. Curious how they will differentiate the Standard Range since it also has dual motors. Maybe they won't make any differentiation outside of Performance/Ludicrous.
- I noticed what appears to be an ultrasonic sensor on the roof, in the glass - between the two falcon wing doors. Can anyone confirm?
- They drilled the front plate bracket!!! Wish they would have used the double stick method they did on the S. Anyone know of patch options?
- 22" black onyx rims came on Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires.
Interior:
- I came from a 2016 Model S, so the interior of the Model X is an upgrade for me - even if there haven't been any changes. The center console having the wood inlay is a lot nicer than the plastic that I used to have on the 2016 Model S.
- No ventilated seats (but I don't have a Performance model to confirm they aren't available).
- The 6 seat config is awesome. It's nice that the 3rd row has occupancy sensors so that when the 2nd row seat slides back, it allows extra space for the person's legs/feet.
- It's nice that the top of the windshield and roof are UV/IR coated (at least per the delivery specialist) - and there was some drizzle, so we did see the red/orange reflectiveness from the glass.
- Can anyone confirm the X has UV AND IR coating? Or Just UV?
- Getting my car tinted next week - and now considering only doing the windshield and front side windows. Leaving the rear and FWD alone since they are so dark - doesn't seem like a lot of heat will get through.
- Love how many USB ports there are in the car (5 total) as opposed to the 2 that were in my 2016 Model S.
- I swapped out the two front door puddle lamps for the Tesla Logo lamps.
Navigate on Autopilot (with confirmation):

- Definitely keeping the confirmation option on once I get the latest software. It's annoying how much the car wants to change lanes. I'd much prefer to just stick to the fast lane and/or HOV lane.
- Clicking on the "tap to cancel" option on the nav clears the request - but only for about 2 seconds. Another lane change request pops up right after. They need to fix this to include a preset timeout period or something to silence lane change requests for XX amount of time.

Congratulations!
Would be glad to hear about driving dynamics - especially the suspension and the driving range.
Also the sensor picture you shared - is this inside the car or outside on the roof top?
Thanks - I can confirm it's also on my Model X built in 2018As for the sensor, it's on the outside, on the roof between the two falcon wing doors.

Suspension update is really nice. How about the range and average kW/mile?
What service precisely is only one year? I thought the only app was the Slacker Radio app, which has a free and paid version.
I think they made that change in July 2018.Tesla has today added the Carbon Interior trim back to the order site for performance models. Oddly enough it now also specifically states that the in car infotainment system comes with ONLY 1 year of free service. When I ordered mine in April there was no mention of a one year service pre-paid….
Don't know why this really matters - why not just add the car via wifi to your mobile's hotspot?Premium data, which includes read time traffic and streaming.

Don't know why this really matters - why not just add the car via wifi to your mobile's hotspot?
That presumes a mobile hotspot is less. But there are services on the infotainment system that does not work over wifi either.Don't know why this really matters - why not just add the car via wifi to your mobile's hotspot?
Because in April that was not part of the order process and was not noted.Don't know why this really matters - why not just add the car via wifi to your mobile's hotspot?
