Anyone received delivery of 2019 'Raven' Refresh?

For those who have the new raven model X, can you let me know if you have any knocking noise from the front suspension when turning at slow speeds. I have this and it has been in the service centre for a week now. The tech agreed it’s not normal but the field engineer is claiming it is normal and they are not willing to do anything. Thinking about returning it.

I did not notice anything like that when I drove my delivery specialist back to the dealer, then dropped my Model X at the detail shop. I wont have it again for a week to try and notice anything again.

2018 mx p100d. I have a knocking like sound when turning the wheels to the extreme at low speed and it hasn’t been an issue otherwise. It’s similar to my bmw x5 but the sounds are just much more muted with the rumble of a v8. I personally wouldn’t return and would agree with the field engineer.

Just dropped off my new Raven model X at the detail shop to get the stealth PPF and chrome delete done.

Here are a couple pictures.

There was a snag with my order though. Even though my order form was updated to show carbon interior, that did not make it to the actual car. It arrived with the dark wood. I was very disappointed. However. I noticed that it had Ludicrous, and I did not order that. I said I would keep the car if they left the Ludicrous on it. The short result is I have Ludicrous, but it is not officially documented on the order. The manager said they have similar situations on some orders and they don't 'believe' it would get overwritten, but cannot guarantee it. My only concern with having an undocumented feature like this is if I had to bring it in for Warranty service at some point, and they denied some major covered repair because it had this undocumented feature loaded. The manager said he could guarantee that would not happen, just that it would not get removed at 'some point'. So... maybe I have free ludicrous for a while, or even for ever. I will just get the dash wrapped with a carbon film with the rest of my car, and hopefully have ludicrous for a while.
Also, I had ordered the alarm system upgrade, and it arrived the same day as the car was to be delivered. So they threw it in before driving it to my house, so don't have to go back for that.
We have a complete set of carbon fiber trim ready to be installed if you are interested in upgrading instead of wrapping.

I'm scheduled for home delivery in about 90min. i ordered April 9th so I'm concerned about receiving a full raven model X. i know to look for the dual motor tag on the rear. adaptive suspension in the menu but how would i really know the front motor is the permanent magnet type? anything else i should look out for as well? my price was never adjusted either to reflect the $2k drop online even though i emailed multiple agents that helped me before. i don't think the delivery guy will be able to give me the 2k discount but guess I'll inquire anyway. thanks for any help

I still maintain that if it is new suspension, it's new motors as well. I took delivery of mine and it listed the wrong motors, but they were able to print out a corrected version. I know it's new motors because my efficiency is WAY better than the old Model X like it should be, and my charge capacity is also higher as it should be.

An easy way to tell is to check the Battery% remaining, and check the range remaining. You can switch between these two under the "Display" tab in the settings. See the attached picture here:

EnergyDistance.jpg

then once you have those two numbers you divide them. Mine are currently 265 miles and 88%, so I would do 265 / 0.88 = 301 miles at full charge. Given the car is a day old, this is much closer to the new rating of 305 than it is the old one of 289 so I can be confident this has the new updated drive train. It may not be bang on , especially right when you get the car, but you should be fairly close with this method. Copying this little table from @Troy so you can see where you should line up.

  • Model X Standard Range: Old: 238 mi, New: 255 mi
  • Model X Long Range: Old: 295 mi, New: 325 mi
  • Model X Performance: Old: 289 mi, New: 270 mi with 22" wheels, 305 mi with 20" wheels

Raven Model X w/Ludicrous is scheduled to be delivered on 6/17. They just sent me a new order agreement and Ludicrous no longer shows on the order. They said that’s the only way they can provide the $20k discount. Is this how it worked for everyone else? I expected a $0 line item for Ludicrous on my order agreement.

Also, I asked that they confirm the referral I used. They told me that my order was associated with someone that I don’t even know. That my Owner Advisor put it on my order. Seems pretty suspicious to me. They are supposed to be getting the appropriate persons referral code onto my order.
I do not think that is correct. Mine, and most others here, have Ludicrous listed and then a $20,000 credit on the MVPA. If it is not on your order I am not sure it will show on the Monroney sticker even if they add if after the fact. Might be beneficial later for private sell to have it there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Mine just showed up at the delivery center last night and I stopped by this am and the Monroney sticker did in fact have its listed.

MX 100D LR Raven delivered Sunday, 6/2 to my home in SHREVEPORT, LA, by truck. Ordered 4/22

Four problems.
1. Have to wait 7 to 10 days for registration documents because of state anti-Tesla regulations

2. Front passenger does not close when brake pedal pushed. Although friend’s MX does the same. I’ve inquired about this

3. Have applied for 2k reduction. Nothing yet, but my payment schedule on my account shows 2k less
Than I actually, so I am expecting a refund.

4. Loot box shows 1000 free miles, should be 5000. An inquiry has been made.

Pretty good results, I’d say.

The driver's door should close on pushing the brake. I don't think the front passenger ever did. You should be able to close it from the center screen, of course.

It is funny you said that, because the folks told me that they could not replace the trim in mine, even though it had the wrong trim. Seems if it was a $1500 replacement after purchase, they could have just said, "we can just swap that out later". Problem would have been solved. I mean they would have to eat some cost, but it could be done.

So I previously had a white interior model X, and the new one is now white with Carbon fiber and it just has been looking weird to me all day. I thought it was just the carbon fiber was different, but then it hit me that literally some of my interior is black and some of it is white... Like, all the seats, armrests, everything are all white. The dash and everything there is black. It's like some bastardized hybrid color interior now or something, I'm not quite sure. I really don't mind it, so I'll probably bring it up but won't fight about it, but seriously what is going on in Fremont with these interiors... Seems like an easy thing to get right, but I guess I've never been in the car industry.

Anyone have a better idea of delivery eta if the car is in final production now. Tesla HQ told me over the phone that the car is in final production at the moment.
My car was in the final stage (car was being painted) as of June 5th (two days ago) when I called. I called today and they said the car will arrive at my delivery center this coming Sunday. Hope that helps.
