Anyone received delivery of 2019 'Raven' Refresh?

delivery guy never showed up today. called support and they said my car is still on containment hold waiting for the sticker and there is no record of a home delivery ever scheduled. so i guess i was talking to a delivery ghost who wanted to deliver my car last Wednesday night when i was unavailable. when i told support ravens are being released so what's the problem with mine he told me not to believe what i see on YouTube and online forums lol. trying not to go crazy here

Just dropped off my new Raven model X at the detail shop to get the stealth PPF and chrome delete done.

Here are a couple pictures.

There was a snag with my order though. Even though my order form was updated to show carbon interior, that did not make it to the actual car. It arrived with the dark wood. I was very disappointed. However. I noticed that it had Ludicrous, and I did not order that. I said I would keep the car if they left the Ludicrous on it. The short result is I have Ludicrous, but it is not officially documented on the order. The manager said they have similar situations on some orders and they don't 'believe' it would get overwritten, but cannot guarantee it. My only concern with having an undocumented feature like this is if I had to bring it in for Warranty service at some point, and they denied some major covered repair because it had this undocumented feature loaded. The manager said he could guarantee that would not happen, just that it would not get removed at 'some point'. So... maybe I have free ludicrous for a while, or even for ever. I will just get the dash wrapped with a carbon film with the rest of my car, and hopefully have ludicrous for a while.

Here is pictures after I dropped it at the detail shop. Probably wont see it again for a week.

Some notes:

I did not see any issues with fit or finish. No issues with falcon doors. Seemed to accept charge on my new wall charger (did not leave it on for long). The new air suspension felt really smooth. I was very impressed with the ride, even in sport mode.

Also, I had ordered the alarm system upgrade, and it arrived the same day as the car was to be delivered. So they threw it in before driving it to my house, so don't have to go back for that.

I ordered my Model S Performance w/Ludicrous and Full Self Drive and both are not on the window sticker. I did not order the carbon fiber, did not see the option, but have the dark wood. Wish I had the carbon. My last S I had my window tint guy just wrap we wood and it looked perfect! I will do the same on this one. $400 to do all the wood areas on my S. Attached is a pic with the wrap, and my dog. lol.

LOVE the new S though! I had a P100D before and its night and day diff. My average watts per mile is running about 270 from intown and some hightway speeds of 75 or so. Way better then my other P100D

Hmm yes we're a bunch of shady people around here :-D Sorry for the problems, There's something strange going on lately with these deliveries that's for sure

Anyone have a better idea of delivery eta if the car is in final production now. Tesla HQ told me over the phone that the car is in final production at the moment.

They told me mine left the factory on May 27th (when I asked for news on the 28th after three weeks of hearing nothing.) They reached out to me on the 30th to schedule delivery for June 6th - and later said it arrived in PA early and I could possibly have had it on the evening of the 3rd. Because of work, I actually picked it up today.

43 miles and remarkably high consumption in the last block of them with the trips reset (they missed the "since last charge" one.) I guess that's the risk of ordering the performance version. My orignal X had 11 miles - guess the 75D is less fun to mess with.

So I previously had a white interior model X, and the new one is now white with Carbon fiber and it just has been looking weird to me all day. I thought it was just the carbon fiber was different, but then it hit me that literally some of my interior is black and some of it is white... Like, all the seats, armrests, everything are all white. The dash and everything there is black. It's like some bastardized hybrid color interior now or something, I'm not quite sure. I really don't mind it, so I'll probably bring it up but won't fight about it, but seriously what is going on in Fremont with these interiors... Seems like an easy thing to get right, but I guess I've never been in the car industry.

Looks like everything on tesla.com. What part are you expecting to be white that's not?

Picked up my Model X tonight!! Originally was scheduled for delivery next Tuesday. My Delivery Specialist called earlier this week and said it would be in early and I could take delivery today.

However, a few days later he called back and said it was delayed and rescheduled for Monday delivery. Turns out it actually arrived today so I was able to pick it up early after all!!

I had one minor paint issue that they actually pointed out. I would have never noticed it if they didn't. Going to be brining it back in next week for it to be touched up. There were a few scuff marks on my back seat as well. Haven't had a chance to see if I can clean those off or not. Pretty minor there too though.

I also did not FSD enabled :( and it requires an Engineer to fix. They are not in until Monday though, so I have to wait a few days on that.

Overall, love the car! Completely different from anything else I have ever driven.

MY FSD isn't enabled either. I emailed for help on that. I'm not worried - it showed on all the documents correctly - but I do want it on. The biggest reason I bought the car, after all.

All the trim on the dash that's supposed to be white. It was white on my last model X.

They changed it some time ago, not sure exactly when. My Sep/2018 XP100D has that same "white-only-on-seats" interior but my 2016 X75D has the full-white like your old car. This is what the Sep/2018 build looks like (no clue why the thumbnail doesn't load but click on the link):

Our X that was delivered in April had the white lower dash. We noticed at the time that the S came with the black lower dash. Our March 2017 S has the white lower dash but our December 2017 S has black. Luckily with the X, we preferred white and got what we ordered. Odd how they keep going back and forth

Wow.
Ordered Raven on May 26 and X is enroute with June 13 delivery pushing my sale of current X a bit. That's about 2 weeks from order to delivery. I was told 5 to 6 weeks.

Got the 5 seat config. Never once used the rear seats in 2.5 years on 2016 X.
Why spend $6k for one additional seat and I am looking fwd to the additional hauling capacity and extra sunken bin for storage. Just personal preference.

My 2016 X90D has been flawless for 65k miles. Best and most versatile vehicle ever made.

A little concerned. Drove the white one (non-Raven) at the store and it still has the disturbing shudder at heavy throttle from 30 to 60.

Sales rep had no clue about the issue and said hopefully Performance Ludicrous will not have the problem. "Hopefully" is not my favorite management tool. I worry that this hasn't been reengineered and corrected in 2.5 years. The only way I can eliminate the shudder on my 2016 X is to put it in the Very Low setting and repeated use there is extremely hard on tires due to camber issues. Bad Continentals lasted 19k. Love my Pirellis which are headed for 60k.

Any comments from those who have the Raven Performance Ludicrous?

I have had three red Teslas, so broke down and ordered blue with cream.

This is from the Tesla Design studio - I would just told SC to change from black to white trimparts as ordered and paid for

Each time I have bought a new Tesla ( on my fith)I always take printscreen of each part of the design studio.

Does anyone know what in excruciating tech detail was changed in the suspension?

From the photos, it seems like the only change may be the struts. The rest of the geometry looks the same; if not it's similar.

The struts are obviously different, and I don't think anyone has pinned down exactly how they work. What they do differently is adaptive damping, which gives a much smoother ride with the potential for better handling as well.

I've only seen one real test of the suspension so far; fortunately they did a pretty thorough job:
