anyone running 235/40/18 for winter (or at all)?

i have a set of 235/40/18 snow tires from my old car's winter setup that are still relatively new. i'm thinking of picking up a set of winter wheels. should i be fine with these tires' specs? seems like it's not a very poplar size choice as far as i'm able to find. should i just go 235/45/18?

Bump. I also have some winter 235/40/18 and I am wondering if they will fit on the stock wheels for the m3?

While they will "fit" they will be one inch smaller than the stock tires in height. This will throw your speedo off by 3.4%. At an indicated 60 mph your actual speed will be 57.9
