Anyone submitted the trade in offer after getting the VIN. any experience? i got the Vin on 8/15 and i submitted the trade in details today..

Can you transfer ownership with the manufacturer statement of origin or do you need to title it before transferring. In my state I will need to pay sales tax when registering the new car….and it would be great to avoid the titling process….

i am not sure.. but, We don’t pay sales tax for the EV vehicles in NJ.

my car is really old.. 2009 bmw... tesla didnt even ask for any pictures... only the odometer pics.. probably they will send it to junkyard.

Same. I took a pic back in March. Then didn’t even ask to take anymore pics. Just took my word for the odometer. But I got a 2021 rav4 so maybe too new?
