Anyone taking delivery of Model Y this week?

Congrats!

What if you need to submit checks for payment? Obviously they need to try cashing the check prior to just letting you drive off right? How does this work?
This new "touchless" delivery means you can inspect MY to your satisfaction and no salesperson around. THEN finalize paperwork with your signatures and attach your check ( TM prefers a cashiers check). Drop all into the box. Drive off into the sunset and wave bye to the Delivery specialist wearing the glove ...

NOT MINE!! I have the same exact config and i can't wait now!! Tesla Come On!!!

We got Shelter in place starting tommorow at midnight in Ohio. Did you get the notice this evening?
I reached out to Tesla via text yesterday to see if that would impact the delivery and they said they were waiting to hear back from the Cleveland store to see if they were closing. I didn't hear anything today. My guess is that since the Cleveland store is also a service center then they are allowed to stay partially open and since they are doing the "contactless" delivery then it's still moving forward. They even got me a one way rental car yesterday so I could drive down to pick it up.

Turns out deliveries are still happening. Mine got pushed to tomorrow now but it's finalized. Took longer for them to receive the vehicle than expected. Finally had a good conversation with my delivery advisor today. He said it'll be ready at 10AM!

They did mention it would likely be contactless with paperwork in the car, unlock with phone will turn on about 15 minutes before delivery time.

Awesome! Congrats! I haven't spoken with the final delivery advisor yet. I'm still waiting for my contract and to make final payment.

How are you still able to do deliveries in Cali? AFAIK they have the same lockdown measures as New York, and all deliveries here were canceled indefinitely.

Hi Everyone,
Got my VIN and delivery text today...taking delivery of my DBM AWD LR no FSD on Friday @ 2:30 pm.
They are delivering it to my home now vs me going to the delivery center. I feel like we are a few days before shelter in place here so hoping to get in under the wire. At least the trickle charge option will work during that time as it will not be going anywhere. Vin is 38XX.

From what I've read, they are doing contactless deliveries. Ohio is in a similar scenario and has that delivery method. On the other hand, I heard on the discord that Illinois has delayed deliveries.

I was super surprised too! I reached out to the delivery specialist last Friday and he said it was a "fluid situation" but perhaps they already made my car before the Fremont factory shut down Tuesday. It's a contactless delivery like mentioned above - sign papers and drop off a check in the box (or prepay prior through ACH banking); then drive off once you are done inspecting your vehicle and watching all the tutorial vids.
